OUR STORY

The Ocoee River Jam began in 2013 as the only weekend long family friendly music festival in the Ocoee Region.  Each year, the festival continues to grow in support and popularity, as local residents and tourists alike anticipate the event each summer.  The festival showcases local, regional, and nationally known musical talent, local and regional crafters and artisans, a “kid’s” zone brimming with all sorts of fun activities for children of all ages, and an assortment of delectable foods from some of the area’s most talents chefs.

In 2015, Ocoee River Jam received recognition from the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit charitable organization.

OUR MISSION

To produce a signature music festival for the Ocoee Region of Tennessee for the purpose of raising overall awareness of the many unique features found within the region, encourage community participation, increase tourism revenues, and support local artisans of diverse genres.  Proceeds from our annual music and arts festival are then distributed to local youth organization and initiatives.  Ocoee River Jam, Inc. has donated proceeds over the years to organizations such as The Boys and Girls Clubs in Polk and Bradley County, The Polk County Chapter of American Red Cross – Youth Programs, People Helping People’s Children’s Outreach, and has purchased equipment for Stanley Steamers – a youth kayaking program ran by Ace Kayaks.

To date, Ocoee River Jam, Inc. has donated over $35,000 to these local youth programs.
